Vita and Natura
In Italian, "Vita" means "life, existence, the source of life, the way of living," while "Natura" refers to "nature, everything that exists, the Creator." We are all living within this great universe, on Earth, alongside nature, plants, and animals. Today, many diseases are spreading unexpectedly around the world, and at the same time, environmental issues are becoming more serious. In both cases, "life" is always involved. Every day we hear many news stories, but in a world like this, it is important for each of us to pay attention to our own bodies and minds, and take an interest in our health. Furthermore, we must ensure that the environment is not further damaged and hope that children of the next generation can live happily and shine. With this in mind, I want to offer the knowledge and techniques I have learned to a greater number of people.
Purpose of Treatment
There are various reasons why people undergo treatment. Some do it to treat diseases, while others do it to relieve the accumulated fatigue of daily life. Some people may not have any specific issues but choose treatment to maintain their health. Nowadays, the term "pre-disease" is often heard in various media. "Pre-disease" refers to a condition where a person is not sick, but if left untreated, it could develop into a disease. In traditional Chinese medicine, the term "pre-disease" is followed by the term "preventive care." Preventive care refers to the practice of preventing a disease from developing before it occurs. Once a person is sick, their natural healing power and immune system are weakened, so recovery takes longer. By reviewing lifestyle and dietary habits, or receiving treatments such as osteopathy or reflexology, it is possible to maintain health and create a body and mind that are less susceptible to illness.
The Difference Between Disease and Healing
Disease: It is a natural, active process the body initiates to eliminate the effects of past mistakes, such as unhealthy habits.
Healing: It is a natural response based on the results and effects of past mistakes, but it differs from the disease process.
Healing Crisis
A healing crisis refers to reactions that occur during natural therapies like osteopathy or reflexology, indicating that the body’s condition is improving. Symptoms can include drowsiness, fatigue, constipation, diarrhea, pain, swelling, pimples, eczema, stomach pain, fever, headache, coughing, phlegm, nausea, etc. Not everyone will experience these symptoms. In fact, some people may not feel any symptoms even if the reactions are happening. It is not possible to predict what reactions will occur in each person. However, individuals with severe conditions, chronic illnesses, or those who have taken medication for long periods, or have eaten food containing pesticides, fertilizers, and additives, or have had a diet high in animal proteins or fats are more likely to react. Reactions and their duration vary from person to person. When such symptoms occur, it is important not to panic or feel anxiety or fear. It is essential to embrace the process naturally and not resort to medication, as that could only delay the body’s natural healing process. By overcoming these reactions, both the body and mind will become healthier.
